The first line of defense: reshore³⁶⁰ will deploy state-of-the art, engineered, nature-positive and coral friendly reefs accounting for the oceanographic and thermodynamic considerations of their shoreline impact.

Mangroves & Forests

Second line of defense: long-known to reduce the effect of storm-surge and limit coastal erosion, Resilienture's efforts will equally weigh the habitat, tourism, carbon sequestration and similar enhancements of nature-based mangrove deployment and safety on a holistic level.

Dunes

Third line of defense: Sand dunes actively protect our shores from coastal flooding and wind damage while acting as a buffer against erosion, protecting shores and the communities around them. We will incorporate sand dune restoration and conservation in our modeling and deployment as a critical nature-based solution.

Dikes & Levees

Fourth line of defense: Dikes and levees protect our shores. Dikes protect land that would naturally be underwater most of the time and provide protection against flooding from the sea during extreme events. Levees allow for effective flood protection from natural disasters. When contemplated as part of the shoreline ecosystem, dikes and levees can serve as key sustainable catalysts of protection and beautification enhancement.
